Egypt agreed to export 3,200 metric tons of cotton in the week ending March 21, according to the Alexandria Cotton Exporters Association. The country has shipped 54,370 metric tons of the fiber, valued at $157.6 million, since Sept. 1, the association said today in its weekly bulletin. Exports in the past week included 1,290 tons of the Giza 88 variety, 50 tons of Giza 92 and 1,860 tons of Giza 86. (Source: Bloomberg)
