The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) will be shortly visiting India on an invitation of Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Assocation (ITAMMA) and will call upon various composite mills to know the smooth functioning of synthetic textiles.

The invitation to BTMA was extended by ITAMMA recently during their visit to Bangladesh. During an official meeting between BTMA and ITAMMA various important technical aspects were discussed where the problem of inefficiently working of Indian cotton was raised by the BTMA officials and it was also added by them that due to this problem not being solved, the Textile Industry here is planning to shift to Man Made Textiles.

While responding to the BTMA complaints, the ITAMMA delegation invited the Bangladesh delegation to India for a visit to various composite mills to know the smooth functioning of synthetic textiles and it was decided that the BTMA delegation will visit India very shortly.

Further, it was also decided to organise systematic webinar trainings for the BTMA members by ITAMMA from India covering important technical aspects in the various fields of textile industry under different slots / capsules.

During the meeting many other important topics were discussed for the benefit of the textile industry of Bangladesh and India. Putting all these requirements on the record, it is decided to execute the same very shortly through an MOU among the Assns. (Source: Tecoya Trend)
